Congratulations to Leroy Russell and his family who were named 2016 Kansas Farm Bureau District 1 “Family of the Year” in early December. The purpose of the “Farm Family of the Year” award is to recognize outstanding Farm Bureau families who have distinguished themselves through participation in Farm Bureau programs and leadership, family activities, community and civic service, as well as displaying good farm operation management.
