Benefit Unit & Water Service Installation Charges

The cost of a benefit unit (the right to receive one water service) does not include the cost of water service installation. The cost of benefit units, established by the size of the meter and all other applicable fees will be reviewed and adopted periodically.

The material and labor installation cost of a benefit unit is based upon the size of the meter.  This price excludes boring, rock and debri.

                 Three-quarter (3/4) inch meter ………………………………        $ 5,400.00

                 One (1) inch meter …………………………………………...         $ 6,650.00

If a road bore is required to connect a service, and additional price of $2,400.00 is charged for a standard bore.  Extra charges may be incurred dependent upon difficulty, depth, rock and debri.

Benefit unit applications need to be completed and submitted to the office. There is a $35.00 processing fee.  Call the office to initiate an application.

All renters will be required to make a deposit before water service will be provided unless the benefit holder is paying for the service.  The required deposit is $50.00.  The deposit will be refunded to the tenant if all charges are paid.
