The City of Topeka water treament plant has been noticing higher than normal levels of chloride in the Kansas River which means that ther is a higher level of salt in the water.

As part of the District’s regular monthly meeting on January 3, 2018 at 7PM, the District will provide information and discussion on theSouth Pointe dam project. 

.At the September 7, 2016 regular meeting of the Board of Directors, it was moved and seconded to instruct Matt Crowley and John Ruckman to do research on seeking a variance or waiver of the State regulation compliance on the dam at South Pointe Bay. They will report back to the Board at the next regular meeting on October 5th their findings
